GRAPE SEED EXTRACT

We recently discussed the health benefits of Ginkgo Biloba, an essential nutrient in EMPower Plus. Today, we'll focus on Grape Seed, another supplement component.

Studies have demonstrated that a straightforward nutrient present in grape seeds holds various health advantages, including helping with blood pressure control, enhancing heart health, managing a healthy weight, and providing mood support. Grape seeds are an abundant source of polyphenols, which are phytochemicals that give grapes their distinguishing deep red and purple hues.

Grape seed has been shown to directly impact a person's perceived stress levels, which can ultimately affect their blood pressure. Studies suggest that grape seeds can benefit a person's mood, particularly regarding the perception of stress (1). For menopausal women, grape seed may help alleviate symptoms like anxiety by reducing systolic blood pressure.

It's worth including grape seeds in your diet for their potential mood-boosting effects and ability to protect against brain disease.

It is more important than ever in 2024 to maintain good heart health. Research has found that grape seed can lower blood pressure and reduce inflammatory markers such as C-reactive protein (CRP) levels (2). High CRP levels are a risk factor for cardiovascular disease.

Finally, grape seeds can help prevent and manage obesity. They improve intestinal flora, regulate metabolism, and lower blood lipids.

EMPower Plus includes grape seed as one of its main ingredients. Grape seed is a great source of antioxidants and has potent anti-inflammatory properties that can help fight insulin resistance. A study that involved teenagers with metabolic syndrome found that those who took grape seed extract (100 mg per day) for eight weeks showed significant improvements in insulin concentration and resistance (3).
