THE MIRACLE CURE MYTH

We have all heard a claim of a MIRACLE SUPER FOOD! This food cures cancer, this one gives you the energy of a superhero!

In this article, we are looking at these boastful claims, and start to question their validity.

Whenever I hear a claim that a superfood can prevent or cure disease, I am immediately skeptical. The more I study the science of research, and how to properly research the research, the more skeptical I become. I truly believe it is beneficial to be a skeptic.

It allows me to take deeper steps into those claims. I want to understand the research or publication that article refers to when they make a bold health claim. This is the only way to educate yourself about something.

Just like with Covid-19, if we are purely relying on mainstream media to inform us on masks, lockdowns, vaccines, etc, we will be misinformed almost 100% of them time. How can you even begin to trust an organization that doesn't share with you references and resources, and doesn't encourage you to investigate for yourself? The pathetic nature of our media has been clearly highlighted in the last 18 months.

Anyways, let's get back on topic!

The truth is, there are many super foods out there that can treat, heal and cure. But the magic bullet effect is a complete myth.

A miracle superfood will not make a difference to you, unless you are taking care of other important lifestyle factors. Getting your diet fixed up, removing constant toxins, and moving your body appropriately.

I have had so many clients in my nutritional practice who tell me how healthy they are and how non-toxic they live. But more often than not, these people are eating out and consuming harmful fats, they have issues dealing with stress, don't drink enough water and binge on certain foods.

These days, eating a pure and healthy diet isn't enough. Our food is massively lacking in certain nutrients, and our soil is poor. We must supplement our diets and lifestyles, and take a holistic approach to our health.

The bottom line is cancer cells will grow out of control if you’re not taking care of yourself in all areas of health.

Inflammation will flood your body if your stress is not managed, and you will have heart issues if you don't consume the right micronutrients. We can no longer simply sit back and believe our body will deal with everything on its own.

We have to take a stand, be involved and take responsibility.

The next time you hear or read a miracle cure of a super food, be skeptical. Find the source of the information, and look at the specifics. Taking care of yourself, especially the fundamentals, cannot be emphasized enough.

Enjoy your day.
